Nina Vetter and Justin Stokes met hiking the incline in Colorado Springs 10 years ago and have been together ever since. They love to play golf, hike, and cross-country skiing. But Dancing, not so much. Nina did take some ballet as a child but Justin has never danced before. They were admittedly peer pressured into participating in the Dancing with the Coastal Stars Event, but say they are ready and willing to make fools of themselves on the dance floor! They will be learning the cha-cha from instructor Kyra Blank.
They moved to Newport a year ago from Gresham, Oregon when Nina became the City Manager for the City of Newport. Justin is the Associate Director of Development and Partner Engagement with the Clark College Foundation. They have been impressed by the tight knit nature of Lincoln County and how the community comes together to support each other. Samaritan House is one of the organizations that they see as doing so much good in the community. “We are supporters of the work that Samaritan House does and wants to help contribute to their fundraising efforts” says Nina. They will be asking everyone they know to support them and the cause!
