Resident Education Program

In addition to personal development case management, Samaritan House residents are required to participate in education and programing on a variety of topics relevant to family success.

This can include everything from budgeting and time management, to nutrition and cooking, to parenting theory and skills. Our case manager and parent educator, Jeff Jones, teaches these classes every Wednesday morning on-site in our education center. Childcare is provided and parents can focus on the topic of the day. We are always happy to have community volunteers teach our residents their skill or concept. To volunteer to teach a resident class, contact the office.
