Free Parenting Education

This has been put on hold for the time being (No one to teach the class at the moment)

In 2015, Samaritan House began providing FREE parenting classes to the community at large, specifically aiming towards families who are closely working with the Department of Human Services or court ordered to complete an evidence-based parenting education program. We are proud to say that we are able to offer FREE parenting classes today for anyone living in Lincoln County.

We have been using the Nurturing Parenting curriculum in our own resident education programming with great results. Through a partnership with Reconnections Drug and Alcohol Counseling, Samaritan House now offers Nurturing Parenting classes in the Lincoln County community for any parent, foster parent, grandparent who needs to complete a class or learn New ways to communicate with their kids or teens. We do real time, hands on weekly homework to apply what we learn.

We offer a 6-week class 10:00am-2:00pm every Tuesday; book, lunch & drinks are provided.

New classes starting soon, contact us for more information, contact the office @541-574-8898. Classes are held at the Samaritan Hospital Center for Health Education Building.
