Andrea and Andrew are friends and work colleagues. They have both worked at Georgia-Pacific Toledo mill for approximately two years. Prior to moving to Lincoln County, Andrew lived in Australia and Andrea in Minnesota. At Georgia Pacific Andrew is the Asset Availability Leader, providing paper mill technical support and loss accounting and investigation. Andrea is Georgia- Pacific’s Public Affairs Manager and oversees all communications involvement and government engagement.
Andrea and Andrew both have experience dancing, but not in as formal a fashion as Dancing with the Coastal Stars. They have paired with local instructor Deya Maldonado and will be learning and performing Bachata. Both decided to participate in this event because not only did it sound like fun, but was also an opportunity to support an important community organization. They are looking forward to learning some new dance moves and hopefully earning some bragging rights! Part of being a dancer for Dancing with the Coastal Stars is also fundraising. Andrea and Andrew will be leveraging their social media networks to raise funds for Samaritan House and are also planning a bean bag competition. For those interested in supporting them, you can donate @ https://www.gofundme.com/f/support-samaritan-house-make-a-difference
Most importantly, they are both looking forward to supporting an organization that has helped shift trajectory of local families in need for over three decades. They feel the success of Samaritan House programs is widely known beyond Lincoln County and they are proud to help highlight the critical work that Samaritan House does through the Dancing with the Coastal Stars event.
